Bankcard Payments: Scenario 2 (using a CISP/PCI DSS Certificate)

PSBill allows a customer (a bank card holder/buyer) to pay for goods/services marketed by a mercantile business (i.e. e-shop) connected by contractual relationship with our company. The merchant gets its own MID (Merchant ID-- the identifier in the acquiring bank) which details relevant merchant information to the acquiring bank, including where the buyer’s payments are to be transferred.

The difference in this approach vs. Scenario 1 above is that in this scenario the merchant must have a CISP/PCI DSS certificate. More detailed information about CISP/PCI DSS and the companies authorized to carry out the given certification may be found at the links below:

Step 1. The buyer connects to a merchant site through the Internet, places an order and enters his bankcard information. The bankcard information is transferred to the merchant under SSL protection.
