PSBill hosted secure page

PSBill allows a customer (a bank card holder/buyer) to pay for goods / services in the mercantile business (i.e. the e-shop), connected by contractual relationship with our company. The merchant gets its own MID (Merchant ID - the identifier in the acquiring bank), specifying to the acquirer the merchant’s relevant information, including where the buyer’s payment funds are to be transferred.

Transaction settlement is a secure, 8-step process:

Step 1. The buyer connects to a merchant site through the Internet, places an order and submits his bankcard information to initiate purchase.
Step 2. The merchant’s system transfers that information to PSBill. As a rule, all information exchange between shop and operator occurs under protected SSL protocol.
Step 3. PSBill establishes connection with buyer through a protected protocol and receives bankcard details. Bankcard information is transferred to payment system only; it is not transferred to merchant at this time.
Step 4. The payment system operator checks both the merchant’s presence in the system, and conformity to system requirements. The authorization inquiry is transferred through the closed bank networks to the buyer card issuing bank (or the card payment system processing center authorized by issuing bank).
Step 5. Once the transaction is authorized, the bank processing center transfers that authorization to PSBill. If the transaction is declined, the processor transfers refusal notice to the authorized server.
Step 6. PSBill notifies buyer and merchant of authorization. If the transaction was declined, PSBill transfers the refusal and associated reason for decline to the buyer and/or merchant.
Step 7 and 8. The merchant provides products/services to buyer. The acquiring bank transfers funds to the designated merchant account.
